COOPERATIVE PARENTING PROGRAM

The Cooperative Parenting Program is available to parents in the City of Greater Bendigo and surrounds. The
parents accessing the program are either separated or divorced and require individual support to establish or
maintain existing parenting arrangements.

The aim of the program is to reduce the adverse impact on children of parental conflict, assist parents to
implement and manage co-operative parenting arrangements and to improve child focused parenting through
the delivery of a three hour educational workshop called "Building Connections". Workshops are offered fortnightly
alternating days and offered rotationally on mornings, afternoons and evenings. Weekend sessions are available
at times.

Counselling, individual support, court support and information and referral is also offered through the Co-Operative
Parenting Program. The Building Connections educational workshop is recommended before any Mediation or
Family Dispute Resolution processes.
