Men and Family Relationships Services aim to help men and their family members to develop and maintain positive family relationships.

The range of services available to men include:

Information, support for invividuals, couples and families.  The services also provide group courses and activities, such as new dads groups, dads playgroup, parenting after separation and antenatal support.

Who can use these services?

The services have been designed specifically to assist men and their families.

All family members including partners, ex-partners, children, stepchildren, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents can use these services.

How can I benefit from these services?

Men and Family Relationship Services are useful for people looking to improve already positive relationships by building their skills as well as helping to resolve the impact of conflict in family relationships.

Talking about family relationship problems is better than dealing with them on your own.  Research shows that your health and wellbeing improves when you are able to play an active role in improving relationships.

When can I access these services?

Men and Family Relationship Services can assist you in maintaining positive family relationships during times of change - when you're forming new relationships, following the birth of a child, during separation or divorce, when re-partnering or retiring.

Is it confidential?

Services provided by Men and Family Relationship Services are confidential except in certain circumstances.

By law, service providers are required to report some things.  If staff reasonably suspect that there is a current threat of serious harm to someone or that a person has actually been harmed and/or a child is at risk of abuse or neglect, then they must report that suspicion to the apporpriate authorities.
