Life Partnership Couple Workshops

The aim of the program is for couples to build on their knowledge and skills by participating in a range of
activities based on key relationship themes. These include: your background and its influence on your relationship,
your expectations and patterns of relating to each other, as well as communication and dealing with differences
and conflict.

One 4 hour or 2 two hour workshops are delivered in a group setting. Although most work is done as a couple,
the group interaction provides an opportunity to learn from others. No sharing of personal information is required
at any time.

FOCCUS

Is a well established and internationally recognised program that assists couples to explore their relationship.
It begins with couples completing an inventory of responses to statements about topics such as lifestyle
expectations, parenting, communication and problem solving. The subsequent sessions involve facilitated
exploration of the areas the couple have identified as important to talk about further.

Three sessions of 1½ hours or 4 sessions of 1 hour are provided in an individual setting. These are available
during office hours and on selected evenings.
