Drought Counselling & Support Services

Many individuals and families in North Eastern, Central and Western Victoria are experiencing pain and suffering due to the drought and its effects.

The Commonwealth and State Governments and the Department of Human Services have funded CentaCare to provide counselling and support programs to individuals, families and communities affected by the drought.

Counselling Support

Counselling and support are free to those affected by the drought. Counselling is strictly confidential and provided by the trained professionals.

Why Counselling is OK!

Most people manage their lives without needing to speak to a professional counsellor. However, sometimes the circumstances we find ourselves in are much greater than normal coping skills can manage. Situations like drought, which leave us feeling powerless and out of control, severely test our coping skills. Our relationships may be affected. Our normal supports may not be enough to help us survive emotionally.

Where to go for help.

Take the time to talk through your worries with a trained counsellor. Contact your local CentaCare
